A mission for a Monday

Your mission… should you choose to accept it.

That is of course the catchphrase from the TV series Mission: Impossible.

Now, you’re not a secret government agent (probably), but your “mission” is a good thing to think about on a Monday morning.

Because…

When you do, it makes the rest of your week in business better.

(It also makes your newsletter easier and better too).

Here’s why:

You might have seen the famous TED video by Simon Sinek. In it he talks about having a “why” – the reason why you do things.

Having a reason inspires others and it also inspires you.

It’s a reason to get up in the morning.

Amid all the hassle that the new week will bring, it pays to think about why you do what you do.

… why you chose to do what you do in the first place.

… what the deeper meaning is behind your choice of career.

Often, it comes down to the contribution you make to the world.

The way you help people.

Now, when you’ve rekindled that enthusiasm… that’s the kind of content to inject into your newsletter.

Stuck for ideas? Here’s my “why”:

The ready-made newsletters I make are aimed at giving my clients a way to connect with their own clients in a way that will generate long-term relationships which will, in turn, lead to more business for my clients and – finally – better lives.

Now… I find that more fulfilling than just thinking about what I do every day. (Run a company that makes newsletters).

So… what’s your mission?

And, now that you know your mission, doesn’t it make staying in touch with your clients that much more important?

Our newsletters are ready-made but completely editable, so you take out one of our articles and put something of your own in.
