I was reading a question the other day on Quora.
The question was: How do I find content for my newsletter?
The question, while completely understandable, made me a little sad.
Now, don’t misunderstand me…
I realize that it’s hard to fill a newsletter. You have other things to do.
That’s why companies like mine exist!
But…
… I just wish the question about finding content didn’t have to be asked.
Here’s what I mean:
If you’re a real estate agent, then you already have enough knowledge and expertise to fill a decade’s worth of newsletters.
After all, you’re an expert at what you do.
You’re good.
You have a ton of knowledge.
And you help people.
You know that this is true: When you really dig into things with a client, you offer them all sorts of advice.
…. All sorts of genuine expertise.
Now – that is what goes in a newsletter!
The content is inside you!
Of course, you’re too busy to sit down and write it all.
And maybe you don’t consider yourself a great writer.
Which is all just fine.
It’s why you use a newsletter company like mine. (And if you use our newsletter, you can edit it as much as you wish to make it really yours and to add some of your own expertise, if you wish.)
But I never want you to think that you don’t have the knowledge to fill a newsletter.
Because you do.
You demonstrate that with your clients every day.
