The Valentine’s Day newsletter lesson

It’s Valentine’s week, and I am reminded of the best bit of advice about relationships I ever heard.

It was this:

Love is done.

In other words…

You can say “I love you” until you are blue in the face, but unless you actually do the things that matter, it means nothing.

So how does this apply to the relationships you have with your clients? How does it apply to the newsletters you send?

Here’s the thing.

You can say that you love and care for your clients…but until you really do something that shows you love them, then it all comes to nothing.

That’s why doing newsletters – the right way – is so important.

Your newsletter isn’t about marketing yourself. Instead, it’s about providing information that makes your clients’ lives better.

By providing useful, actionable articles (that are also entertaining), you are adding value to their lives.

You are making their lives better.

And that’s what it is all about.

Instead of taking what you can, you are giving all you can.

And you know what?

When you give…you get back.

In many ways.

The newsletters we make are full of articles that are designed to add value – to make your clients’ lives better.

You can use the newsletters as they are, or you can add your own information and thoughts.

Send them out for a few months and see what happens.

Here’s the place to start.

PS. Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day on Saturday. Remember? See how I have your best interests at heart?!
